Hobbies, once left behind in the mad rush to crack JEE, are slowly finding their way back into Insti life. With the introduction of recreation courses last year, IITM has formally given space and credits, to painting, dance, yoga, filmmaking, and more in the weekly timetable.

Wadhwani School of Data Science and AI – Interview with Prof. Balaraman Ravindran

The newly established Wadhwani School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at IIT Madras, led by Professor B. Ravindran, aims to address interdisciplinary data-driven challenges and advance the AI field. It offers specialized B.Tech courses and minors, prioritizes applied AI, and provides ample research opportunities. Future upgrades include more computing resources and new research centers.
