“The chandeliers, beautiful white curtains, the litany of wall hangings and the ever-so-comfy chairs all scream elegance. Once we were settled down, we looked through their elaborate menu – which offers a wide range of continental all-day breakfast options, Italian and a melangè of French/Danish pastries – in quest of something we liked.”
Niharika Gunturu in this Beyond the Gates article provides yet another quick and brilliant review of some of the must trys at Bolizza, located adjacent to SKS-T Nagar. A decent and quite pocket-friendly restaurant to treat one’s multi-cultural friends for they have Continental, South Indian and North Indian cuisine in the offing.
“Sporting their usual menu, with cold coffee, chocolate milkshakes, (two types of) cake, cupcakes, burgers and salty snacks – garlic bread, cheese croissants… the list is long, and thus provides an extensive range of choices. In addition to this, there are also some strange, to say the least, additions such as idly sambhar (the feel of South India) – for breakfast perhaps? Bottom line: This is a good place to meet up with a friend, occasionally have lunch, but probably not a convenience food joint. Though subsidized, it will take a heavy toll on your wallet.”
